So we ended up getting on the train a little late last night but when we did we discovered they had the whole first half of a train car reserved for us! So that is the nice the whole group of 29 of us are together, and yes everyone made it on!
So last night we made our selves as comfy as can be in our seats that we will be in for about 24 hours...hopefully not to much longer. :) Since I wasn't really tired when we got on I checked out the lounge car and had a brewski with some of the family, ended up helping to move our luggage, yes with the yellow tags, thanks Cath, out of the checked baggage area so we can get to them and then checking out the bathrooms! I think the train bathrooms are even smaller than airplane bathrooms, unless you get the one at the end of the hall, it has a lounge area! Ha! You may just find me sleeping in there! That leads me to the next part of the journey...sleeping, or trying to!
So Kylie and I were seat partners, meaning she sat next to me. So we sort of slept last night I guess you could say, but as you can tell by the time of this post I am up unusually early compared to my normal summer sleeping hours :) Lets just say this was not the most comfortable nights sleep...I ended up waking up laying on the for rests while Kylie was on the seat next to me. I would have to say she had the better spot! But now the early morning chipper family members are at in the dining car, after they woke us up and opened curtains, and Kylie moved to another seat so I am here all comfy now! Well, that is all for now, we are just outside of Grand Forks headed West!
